Harrup Park Country Club, like many establishments that have been around for a time in Mackay,
it all started with a sport; Cricket. From the inception of Mackay Cricket Association in 1891 to
the purchase of the land that houses the Club today, the Harrup Park journey is one of sheer determination
on the part of those involved in it along the way.
Harrup Park Country Club is now home to not only the Mackay Cricket Association but to the AFL Mackay branch
and is the official venue for the RSL Mackay Sub-branch. With over 20,000 members, a Bistro, Coffee Shop, Bar and
Deck, 200 Machine Gaming Lounge, Dedicated Function Centre and Six Sporting Ovals,
Harrup Park is Mackay’s Leading Leisure Destination.
We have been fortunate enough to host historical games in both Cricket and AFL, notably the Ryobi Cup in 2011, the Sheffield Shield in 2015, the International A-series in 2016, the NAB Challenge game between the Brisbane Lions and St Kilda in 2016 which unfortunately was cancelled at the eleventh hour due to rain and the JLT Community Series
between the Gold Coast Suns and Essendon.
Our goal is provide a friendly atmosphere for our customers and a high level of customer service and satisfaction. We continually invest in our Staff and the Club to make your experience a memorable one, for all the right reasons.
Making a place for you and your friends to spend a time to remember is a primary purpose.
