We recently had our wedding at Harrup Park and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional, and filled with warmth. Choosing Harrup Park as our venue was hands-down one of the best decisions we made.

The Events Coordinator, Kath, was an absolute powerhouse — incredibly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Her confidence and experience set the tone for a relaxed planning process and a perfectly executed day. Nothing was ever too hard, and everything ran like clockwork.

Aleks also went above and beyond behind the scenes and even helped coordinate a surprise moment with the cricket team — a personal and unforgettable touch that meant the world to us.

April was another standout. She was always one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly and our guests were well cared for. So many people commented on how wonderful and professional she was throughout the event.

And the food — truly next-level. We had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Beautifully presented, full of flavour, and delivered with impeccable service. Massive credit to the chef and kitchen team.

We’re so grateful to the entire Harrup Park team for helping create such a magical and memorable day. Their passion, attention to detail, and genuine care for their work shone through at every moment. Highly, highly recommended.

What a great first visit to Harrup Park!
Popped in for the first time this week and was honestly impressed. We tried the Thursday T-bone steak special, cooked just right and full of flavour. Also had the fried rice and Korean fried chicken, both were super tasty, definitely recommend giving them a go.
Huge thanks to Romario from the staff, absolute legend. Even though the place was pretty packed, he welcomed us with a big smile, managed to find us a table, explained the weekly specials, and checked in on us throughout the night. Really appreciated the friendly service, makes all the difference.
Can’t wait to come back!

Pretty average Mackay’s club/pub food and service. Special mention to Wendy for her service but over all we were unable to enjoy a nice meal as courses were pushed by the kitchen with no regards for customer request. I placed order for some entrees and asked to have the mains for the table of 10 delayed so we could enjoy the entrees. Sure enough not all garlic bread arrived that mains stated to be served, I mentioned we had asked for the mains to be delayed so they put the mains that were ready under the heat lamps and served after 5 minutes. Personally got a $40 rump stake, asked for rare, got it medium well done.

Our party of 6 enjoyed our dinner last night. 3 had the T bone steak Thursday special and all enjoyed the steaks. One had a sirloin, he said it was splendid. One had barramundi which she call ed spectacular and the fine person was too busy eating every morsel to comment. Dinner for my husband and I was less the $35 and we we very happy with the price and quality of our dinner. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful.

I love dining at Harrup Park when I'm in Mackay. Whether I am in the Bistro or the Cafe, the staff seem to all be lovely & helpful not to mention the yummy food.
It can be noisy at times & hard to get a park, but that's because of it's popularity with the locals.

We had a great lunch. Food was delicious and well priced. Meals come out quickly, tables were constantly being cleaned up, staff were friendly, meals delivered to our table. You can order at the counter or use the QR code on the table which automatically applies the members discount. It’s nice to go somewhere and receive great service. We will definitely be back due to the service we received. Thankyou!

Big club with good atmosphere. Not as loud as some places. I went with a party of 6, including 2 kids. The food was nice. None at the table had any complaints. Kids loved the supervised kids area where you can leave your kids for an hour. Cakes look amazing, but I didn't try them. Heaps of parking.
Staff were all very friendly.
